Executive Director of Organizational Development & Talent Management – Direct Hire – Buffalo, NY
Our client, who is a long standing Buffalo employer is seeking a Human Resources Leader to spearhead growth programs of four key areas of their organization: 1. Leadership Development 2. Succession Planning 3. Employee Experience 4. Organizational Development/Efficiencies
Responsibilities:
- Manager a team of 5 individuals
- Work with outside vendors to help flesh out strengths and opportunities on these four key areas
- Build programs/strategic initiatives to help bridge the gap between current and future state in these key areas
- Train and educate departments and employees on these programs and their importance
- Help use these programs to drive positive culture change across the enterprise
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree is required
- 10 years of experience in Human Resources is strongly preferred
- Experience building programs in leadership/development or succession planning is required
- Ability to coach, train, and mentor at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and create buy in surrounding the programs created and the benefit it will bring to the culture of the organization
