Executive Director of Organizational Development & Talent Management – Direct Hire – Buffalo, NY


Our client, who is a long standing Buffalo employer is seeking a Human Resources Leader to spearhead growth programs of four key areas of their organization: 1. Leadership Development 2. Succession Planning 3. Employee Experience 4. Organizational Development/Efficiencies



  • Manager a team of 5 individuals  
  • Work with outside vendors to help flesh out strengths and opportunities on these four key areas
  • Build programs/strategic initiatives to help bridge the gap between current and future state in these key areas
  • Train and educate departments and employees on these programs and their importance
  • Help use these programs to drive positive culture change across the enterprise


  • Bachelors Degree is required
  • 10 years of experience in Human Resources is strongly preferred
  • Experience building programs in leadership/development or succession planning is required
  • Ability to coach, train, and mentor at all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence and create buy in surrounding the programs created and the benefit it will bring to the culture of the organization
