Help Desk Professional / Tech Support – Direct Hire – Buffalo, NY
Progressive white-collar employer in Buffalo seeks a Help Desk professional to support 100 internal users across three offices. This role is the first level technical support in a 4 person IT team. Reporting directly to a Senior Network Systems Administrator, the Help Desk professional is responsible for solving as many tickets and technical issues as possible. Help desk tickets range from computer access, MS Office issues, hardware issues including printers and scanners, laptop upgrades, version updates, virus updates, Outlook and mail support etc. This is an ad-to-staff job, and the idea is to relieve the Systems Administrator from doing the day-to-day support in order to get more project work accomplished.
Successful candidate can be either junior level and just starting out, or senior level and ready for a good stable employer. Either way, a basic knowledge of computer hardware and MS Office is required along with a great attitude and customer service orientation. The more knowledge the better.
