Job Title: Lead Applications Developer
Our client is seeking a talented Lead Applications Developer to join our growing team. As part of their global procurement network, this software manages over $10 billion in spend for food, services, and supplies, serving more than 80,000 client sites in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing systems that handle complex financial calculations and postings within tight processing time constraints. This includes web applications and back-end batch processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business owners and users to document requirements
- Assist in architecting the overall solution
- Create functional and technical documentation
- Design and develop individual components
- Perform unit testing and participate in QA testing and bug fixing
- Provide ongoing production support for applications, including incident investigation and resolution
- Mentor and lead team members
- Take on-call responsibility for critical issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, T-SQL and/or PL/SQL
- Experience with the .NET stack: ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, and Angular (C# preferred)
- Knowledge of financial and accounting systems is a plus
- Familiarity with supply chain management is a plus
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
