Manager of Internal Audit – Direct Hire – Buffalo, NY

Our client is publicly traded organization who is seeking the next leader of their Internal Audit team.   

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4 individuals  
• Review and make recommendations based on the risk assessments put together by the team
• Ensure SOX compliance across the organization
• Create and present financial reports to the executive and board staff
• Review and create financial controls  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting  
• At least 3-5 years doing audit work in accounting and finance (public accounting experience preferred)
• Strong Excel Skills
• Strong Attention to Detail and organizational skills
• Great communication skills and problem solving skills
• Ability and willingness to lead and mentor team
