Product Owner – Direct Hire – Columbia, MD

 

Our client is one of Maryland’s top employers and top cultures. They are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their organization on a direct hire basis.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with software development using Microsoft technologies
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products and with Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Demonstrated ability to write transact-SQL queries
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in providing Level 2 or Development (Level 2) Technical Support
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving including the ability to explain technical concepts to end-users and non-technical staff
  • Demonstrable strong organizational and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Knowledge in SQL and MS office tools

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management in a Product Support systems
  • Provide client support via phone, email, and video within established timeframes
  • Analyze and Categorize Issues and attempt to Resolve Issues using Knowledge Base
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the products, functions, and diagnostic capabilities
  • Attend training and self-study to acquire, maintain and improve job skills
  • Develop, communicate, and execute circumvention to resolve issues
  • Create and update case records, detail actions taken, problem identification, and resolutions, including follow-ups and scheduled call backs to customer, where necessary
  • Diagnose and resolve system operational problems quickly and effectively
  • Escalate Issues to Level 3 (as needed) and log Development Ticket for Actual Fix
  • Reproduce / confirm product defects and report such defects to Product Lead, IT, Dev Ops and Engineering teams for immediate & future consideration
  • Monitor systems, provide technical support for end users within the company’s SLAs
  • Collaborates with Software Engineers and Administrators to maintain the production system and deployment process
  • Act as an intermediary between business, technical, and stakeholders
  • Provide system support by diagnosing and resolving technical support issues
  • Check system health by running diagnostic and reporting routines
