Senior Automation Engineer – Direct Hire – Buffalo, NY
Are you an experienced Automation Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a drive for innovation? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing automation solutions to optimize our processes and drive efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks and strategies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
- Lead the development and deployment of automation solutions, including scripting, coding, and testing.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance testing to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of automation systems.
- Monitor and maintain existing automation systems, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior automation engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in automation tools and technologies, such as Selenium, Jenkins, or similar.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
